These are my 4 things to stock up on and add more drama to my life.
Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara – a must-have. I have talked with many people who use this mascara and they are obsessed with it just like me. I have never been into lots of make-up, but when it comes to eyelashes, the bigger, the better. I get the desired effect by simply using the Lancome mascara which really gives the lashes a longer and bolder look. The brush has an S-shaped curve which makes it easier for evenly application of the mascara.
Chanel Crayon Sourcils Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil – The brush that is attached to the pencil itself is so useful when shaping the eyebrows and adding shades. I always use it before making any corrections on my eyebrows so I can have a better perception of what is going on. The pencil is very soft and easy to work with, there are different shades available, and yes!, you’d better spend the needed time figuring which shade is the perfect for you, since a wrong color will not look natural (it may even look funny). My favorite benefit of the Chanel Eyebrow Pencil is that it lasts long enough and I don’t have to carry it with me all day and fix it.
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette – All time favorite eyeshadow palette . Since I bought it, I carry it with me everywhere and use it for both daily and night makeup. For a lighter look, the shades “High”, “DirtySweet”, “Radar” and “Thirteen” are perfect enough. When I want to create a darker look for my night outs, I add the gunmetal silver “Armor”, “Dagger” and “Black Market”. This palette contains a great mix of matte and shimmer shades, and light and dark, the shades are easy to blend and the brush is not bad at all.
Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner– Another very important for me product. If you are like me and your eyes get wet anytime you try to apply an eyeliner on your bottom lid, welcome to the club! It’s so annoying because it might ruin your whole eye make-up. Having that kind of problem, I was looking for an eyeliner which I can apply as fast as possible before my eyes get watered, because once that happens and the bottom lid get wet, it is impossible to use the pencil (it should be dry). The issue with the watering eyes might be a result of some allergy to the ingredients of the products you use (which is dangerous and you have to find if that’s the reason, before it gets more serious and a surgery is needed – I am not joking!). Most often, the reason lies either in the moisturizer, the primer, or the foundation itself, or in all of them. If you are using more watery ones and heavy-duty when they go too close to the lash line, the eyes get irritated.
The foundation I was using before was a watery one, and without paying enough attention and not being enough careful, my eyes used to water every time I was doing my makeup. Also, applying the concealer under the eye, not too close to the lash line could help you stop the tears.
The eyeliner itself is very important and it’s for me it’s better to use a waterproof one. I am very satisfied with Chanel STYLO YEUX Waterproof Eyeliner, which is in the limited edition. It’s not as intense as some other eyeliners and like the eye pencil from Chanel, but its the application is so easy and fast and overtime it does not drip down your face. I am not such a big fan of lining the whole eyes, and creating that bold look, so this version of an eyeliner works perfect for me.
